The Brañavieja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Sierra should have stopped the shot. Rafa Sierra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adán Feria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Sierra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulio Bermudez in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Adán Feria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafa Sierra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Rafa Sierra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemencin Justo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Sierra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xulio Bermudez went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Eustaquio Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Clemencin Justo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Rafa Sierra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Brañavieja's zone, Clemencin Justo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Sierra came out of the goal and Clemencin Justo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Brañavieja's goal looked a bit too open when Adán Feria came free, but Rafa Sierra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Souston C.F's Luis Ricoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafa Sierra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. After the first half Souston C.F were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noé Contratas to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Noé Contratas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Alberda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Souston C.F's Telesforo Etxeberria was substituted for Adán Feria. The Souston C.F fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Souston C.F's Xulio Bermudez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Clemencin Justo made a precise shot to the right of Rafa Sierra. Brañavieja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Rafa Sierra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telesforo Etxeberria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xulio Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rafa Sierra made a huge save. Telesforo Etxeberria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 96th minute, Telesforo Etxeberria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Souston C.F's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
