The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orti Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sabit Özdoruk made a huge save. After 6 played minutes Colonia Güell got a freekick which was hit by Floyd George. 9 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's Orti Sánchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabit Özdoruk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabit Özdoruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calisto Abril's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With his leg Sabit Özdoruk managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Fillos de Breogán's Orti Sánchez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabit Özdoruk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stelian Deleanu went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Stelian Deleanu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sabit Özdoruk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fillos de Breogán. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Lopez de Toro in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Stelian Deleanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabit Özdoruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Colonia Güell's Sabit Özdoruk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colonia Güell from getting a goal against them. Orti Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sabit Özdoruk made a huge save. Sabit Özdoruk was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Orti Sánchez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orti Sánchez really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Colonia Güell's zone, Stelian Deleanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabit Özdoruk came out of the goal and Stelian Deleanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Pardo in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Colonia Güell's goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Abril came free, but Sabit Özdoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Nadal to make the kick off. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Pardo in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Stelian Deleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabit Özdoruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Deleanu in the 55th minute of play forced Colonia Güell's goalkeeper Sabit Özdoruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Calisto Abril ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabit Özdoruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Sabit Özdoruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orti Sánchez's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Sabit Özdoruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oto Gómez in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Orti Sánchez made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Colonia Güell's Sabit Özdoruk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Stelian Deleanu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Colonia Güell's Sabit Özdoruk. Sabit Özdoruk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Veremundo Caballero replaced Oto Gómez. Fillos de Breogán's Xesus Galaiko was substituted for Calisto Abril. In the 73rd minute, Xesus Galaiko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fillos de Breogán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. If Orti Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Colonia Güell's goal looked a bit too open when Orti Sánchez came free, but Sabit Özdoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Sánchez in the 83rd minute of play forced Colonia Güell's goalkeeper Sabit Özdoruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Kyuldzhiev in the 87th minute of play. When Colonia Güell's Andrey Kyuldzhiev, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Colonia Güell. Ramón De Pablo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Orti Sánchez scored 10-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabit Özdoruk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Stelian Deleanu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fillos de Breogán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Deleanu couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fillos de Breogán fully deserved thier win.
