The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, Souston C.F's Xulio Bermudez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anchel Mera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Souston C.F's Xulio Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL defense, Clemencin Justo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anchel Mera. The GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anchel Mera should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Tirso Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Alberda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Adán Feria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anchel Mera, 3-0. In the 15th minute, Xulio Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Souston C.F fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Anchel Mera was a little too slow when Xulio Bermudez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 5-0. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Anchel Mera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL from getting a goal against them. Anchel Mera stood somewhat misplaced when Xulio Bermudez came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. 27 minutes into the match, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goal looked a bit too open when Xulio Bermudez came free, but Anchel Mera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Adán Feria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anchel Mera. Adán Feria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Xulio Bermudez in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anchel Mera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's zone, Adán Feria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anchel Mera came out of the goal and Adán Feria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xulio Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Anchel Mera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Argenis Treviño's late challenge caught a Souston C.F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Argenis Treviño helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 43 minutes, Adán Feria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Souston C.F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adán Feria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tirso Zamora was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Adán Feria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anchel Mera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 64 minutes GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xulio Bermudez who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Luis Ricoy drilling the ball in to score 9-0 behind GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goalkeeper. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Adán Feria sped through GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anchel Mera. Souston C.F's Telesforo Etxeberria was substituted for Adán Feria. Anchel Mera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulio Bermudez in the 72nd minute of the match. Anchel Mera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo Etxeberria, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Xulio Bermudez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anchel Mera having to make a save. If Tirso Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Souston C.F fully deserved thier win.
