Rafa Sierra came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Fillos de Breogán's Stelian Deleanu. But to his dismay, Stelian Deleanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Orti Sánchez took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafa Sierra. Rafa Sierra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Amado Azofra kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Oto Gómez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Fillos de Breogán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oto Gómez couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Brañavieja getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Illan Rodriguez hit a great ball. Orti Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Sierra having to interfere. Rafa Sierra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orti Sánchez in the 30th minute. Calisto Abril scored 4-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafa Sierra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Yağızalp Ulaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Martino Zafrilla fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brañavieja's protests and gave Martino Zafrilla a yellow card for diving instead. Orti Sánchez in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafa Sierra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rafa Sierra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orti Sánchez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orti Sánchez made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Orti Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brañavieja's Bahiano Carceles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 56th minute, Stelian Deleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bazil Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rafa Sierra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orti Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Sierra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calisto Abril, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Brañavieja defense, Yağızalp Ulaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Sierra. The Brañavieja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Sierra should have stopped the shot. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Veremundo Caballero replaced Oto Gómez. Fillos de Breogán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orti Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafa Sierra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesus Galaiko in the 85th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Orti Sánchez sped through Brañavieja's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafa Sierra. In the 90th minute, Orti Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Orti Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
