An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabat Portillo in the 10th minute of play forced Dark Knights FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Quentin Gonzalez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Dres. Dark Knights FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quentin Gonzalez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo de Queiroz in the 15th minute of play forced Dark Knights FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Dionisio Hidalgo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Dres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

Iwan Dres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Gonzalez in the 51st minute of play. Iwan Dres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo de Queiroz went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Dark Knights FC's Iwan Dres got control of the ball when Quentin Gonzalez tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Atlético Maravilla's Iwan Dres threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xabat Portillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute, Atlético Maravilla's Xabat Portillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Iwan Dres didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Dionisio Hidalgo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iwan Dres firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Dark Knights FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Hidalgo. Quentin Gonzalez took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Dres. Cordairo Segura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Novotný, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Leopoldo de Queiroz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 75th playminute. When Dionisio Hidalgo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Atlético Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Hidalgo couldn't finish the play. In the 80th match minute, Dark Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarracino Camacho to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Dark Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xabat Portillo came free, but Iwan Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Atlético Maravilla's Leopoldo de Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Dres. Iwan Dres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Maravilla's zone, Lamberto Bencoiechea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordairo Segura came out of the goal and Lamberto Bencoiechea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Gonzalez got free with Iwan Dres in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo de Queiroz in the 91st minute of play forced Dark Knights FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Dark Knights FC's Lamberto Bencoiechea made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cordairo Segura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético Maravilla played a much better game than Dark Knights FC and deserved their victory. The Dark Knights FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
