Spectators: 8043 (Terracing: 6033, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Ospin Alavedra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Patrick Zimmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Menendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Campomanes in the 10th minute of play forced Ontigola AFC's goalkeeper Ramón Menendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramón Menendez came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Bogdy's Patrick Zimmerman. But to his dismay, Patrick Zimmerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ontigola AFC's Ramón Menendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Zimmerman in the 15th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Bogdy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Campomanes to maneuver through the defense. When Florencio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ontigola AFC's protests and gave Florencio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Ontigola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Zimmerman scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Menendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th match minute, Bogdy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Campomanes to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Patrick Zimmerman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ontigola AFC's Ramón Menendez. Ramón Menendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Ontigola AFC defense, Cipriano Campomanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Menendez. The Ontigola AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramón Menendez should have stopped the shot. After the first half Bogdy were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klement Naumowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Ontigola AFC's Klement Naumowicz made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Kemp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramón Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ospin Alavedra in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Ontigola AFC's Ramón Menendez got control of the ball when Patrick Zimmerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Zimmerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ramón Menendez made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ontigola AFC's zone, Cipriano Campomanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Menendez came out of the goal and Cipriano Campomanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ontigola AFC's Ramón Menendez got control of the ball when Patrick Zimmerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Zimmerman took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Menendez. Ramón Menendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Alfronso Palomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Kemp having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Ontigola AFC's goalkeeper Ramón Menendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Zimmerman. In the 76th minute, Cipriano Campomanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Menendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Bogdy's Jorge Quijana was substituted for Ubarna Cardeñosa. 81 minutes into the game, Alfronso Palomar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Ralph Kemp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Patrick Zimmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Menendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Menendez made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Patrick Zimmerman sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Ontigola AFC's goalkeeper Ramón Menendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Zimmerman. When the final whistle sounded Bogdy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ontigola AFC.
