Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Lundström made the kick off which started today's match. Frankie Yankovich scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nastasio Carreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nastasio Carreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Lundström went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gitarriu's Bernebe Sabugal got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vitoria-Gasteiz's zone, Joel Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nastasio Carreira came out of the goal and Joel Lundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes Vitoria-Gasteiz got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Alvarez. Belmiro Alvarez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gitarriu's Joel Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernebe Sabugal scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nastasio Carreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Joel Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gitarriu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frankie Yankovich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nastasio Carreira having to make a save. Felix Alacuart might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nastasio Carreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Alacuart ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Frankie Yankovich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldo Pascual hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Nastasio Carreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergaray Casero, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Vitoria-Gasteiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Frankie Yankovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nastasio Carreira having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Bernebe Sabugal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira. Nastasio Carreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Frankie Yankovich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gitarriu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Frankie Yankovich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nastasio Carreira having to make a save. Bernebe Sabugal scored 0-6 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nastasio Carreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 played minutes Vitoria-Gasteiz got a freekick which was hit by Flor Toledo. Gitarriu's Vergaray Casero took a good shot, in the 37th minute, which hit the crossbar above Nastasio Carreira's head, and flew over the goal. Vitoria-Gasteiz's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Gitarriu. Nastasio Carreira came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gitarriu's Frankie Yankovich. But to his dismay, Frankie Yankovich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 42 played minutes Vitoria-Gasteiz got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Alvarez. After a defensive mix-up in Vitoria-Gasteiz's zone, Joel Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Regis Radaban was the one to do the kick off. Felix Alacuart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Vitoria-Gasteiz's goalkeeper Nastasio Carreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frankie Yankovich. Zelipe Lastras hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Frankie Yankovich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gitarriu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. In the 67th minute, Gitarriu's Felix Alacuart ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nastasio Carreira. Nastasio Carreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. A collision led to Vitoria-Gasteiz getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Aldo Pascual hit a great ball. When Joel Lundström came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Lundström couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Vitoria-Gasteiz defense, Frankie Yankovich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nastasio Carreira. The Vitoria-Gasteiz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nastasio Carreira should have stopped the shot. Frankie Yankovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nastasio Carreira having to interfere. Joel Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernebe Sabugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nastasio Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frankie Yankovich took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nastasio Carreira. Nastasio Carreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. After a rather tough play, Vitoria-Gasteiz's Ventura Alfaro got a free kick in the 86th minute. Felix Alacuart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
