César Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lundström in the 18th minute of play. Gitarriu were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after SCARGES FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vergaray Casero took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Zelipe Lastras drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind SCARGES FC's goalkeeper. Damian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitzeder Maldonado in the 23rd minute of the match. César Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernebe Sabugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gitarriu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vergaray Casero in the 30th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SCARGES FC's goalie and right to Jane Gubanec. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SCARGES FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. César Sánchez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frankie Yankovich in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Gitarriu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jane Gubanec to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gitarriu's zone, Hitzeder Maldonado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Tipinski came out of the goal and Hitzeder Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bernebe Sabugal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gitarriu's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernebe Sabugal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frankie Yankovich got free with César Sánchez in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 49th minute of the match Gitarriu got a corner. SCARGES FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vergaray Casero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Vergaray Casero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SCARGES FC's César Sánchez did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A collision led to SCARGES FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucila Quesada hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, SCARGES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundström came free, but César Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frankie Yankovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Sánchez having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind SCARGES FC's goalkeeper César Sánchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74th play minutes Frankie Yankovich shot 2-0, a short shot which went by César Sánchez and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frankie Yankovich in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Sánchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frankie Yankovich in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Sánchez saved SCARGES FC from getting behind. It was a well-played corner which Bernebe Sabugal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. César Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Gitarriu got a freekick which was hit by Felix Alacuart. 96 minutes into the match, SCARGES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Yankovich came free, but César Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gitarriu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
