Asier Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nastasio Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurxo Lagunas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nastasio Carreira having to make a save. Veremundo Lastras took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nastasio Carreira. Nastasio Carreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Xurxo Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurxo Lagunas couldn't finish the play. In the 28thth minute of the game Asier Izquierdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xurxo Lagunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nastasio Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nastasio Carreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xurxo Lagunas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Veremundo Lastras scored 6-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nastasio Carreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xurxo Lagunas in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nastasio Carreira saved Vitoria-Gasteiz from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Tormes to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 52nd minute of play forced Vitoria-Gasteiz's goalkeeper Nastasio Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xurxo Lagunas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nastasio Carreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xurxo Lagunas ran back to his position shaking his head. Asturcones d´la Abadía's attentive Veremundo Lastras managed to snatch the ball when Aldo Pascual made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Filomeno Tormes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nastasio Carreira. Vitoria-Gasteiz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Tormes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Xurxo Lagunas might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nastasio Carreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xurxo Lagunas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Filomeno Tormes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nastasio Carreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Regis Radaban hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitoria-Gasteiz's goalkeeper Nastasio Carreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Xurxo Lagunas made a precise shot to the right of Nastasio Carreira. Vitoria-Gasteiz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Alejandro Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Xurxo Lagunas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Asturcones d´la Abadía were the better team. Asturcones d´la Abadía's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
