After a rather tough play, Sindicato de Cojos's Xosepin Saavedra got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Xosepin Saavedra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otunba Adegbola having to make a save. The supporters of Sindicato de Cojos booed when Estrella Minera SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aintza Bacete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estrella Minera SAD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eberardo Companys 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberardo Companys in the 14th minute of play forced Estrella Minera SAD's goalkeeper Otunba Adegbola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Luis Raya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Raya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillerme Batuecas having to interfere. Estrella Minera SAD's Otunba Adegbola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberardo Companys in the 28th minute of play. Julen Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillerme Batuecas having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Julen Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillerme Batuecas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Raya in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillerme Batuecas saved Sindicato de Cojos from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Julen Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xosepin Saavedra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eberardo Companys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otunba Adegbola. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xosepin Saavedra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Xosepin Saavedra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otunba Adegbola was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Aintza Bacete came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Estrella Minera SAD fans jumped to their feet. Otunba Adegbola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eberardo Companys, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Luis Raya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Camaño in the 86th minute of play forced Sindicato de Cojos's goalkeeper Guillerme Batuecas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, one of Sindicato de Cojos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xosepin Saavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otunba Adegbola having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sindicato de Cojos could leave the field as winners, despite Estrella Minera SAD having more of the ball for most of the match.
