In the 20th minute, Joel Lundström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otunba Adegbola. The goal made the score 4-0. Otunba Adegbola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernebe Sabugal in the 23rd minute of the match. Joel Lundström hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Joel Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otunba Adegbola having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Estrella Minera SAD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frankie Yankovich fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Felix Alacuart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gitarriu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Bernebe Sabugal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Otunba Adegbola made a huge save. Vergaray Casero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Otunba Adegbola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes of play, Gitarriu's Joel Lundström made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otunba Adegbola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernebe Sabugal struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Otunba Adegbola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Otunba Adegbola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the referee ended the match the Gitarriu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
