Vergaray Casero made a great header on Gitarriu's corner, it was just that Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira managed to reach the ball for a save. Nastasio Carreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Yankovich in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Zelipe Lastras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nastasio Carreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Vitoria-Gasteiz booed when Gitarriu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Alacuart didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Frankie Yankovich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Frankie Yankovich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nastasio Carreira made a huge save. Gitarriu were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vitoria-Gasteiz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vergaray Casero took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vergaray Casero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nastasio Carreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felix Alacuart charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Alacuart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Gitarriu got a freekick which was hit by Felix Alacuart. 4-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Joel Lundström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Felix Alacuart made a precise shot to the right of Nastasio Carreira. Vitoria-Gasteiz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Frankie Yankovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Benítez in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Felix Alacuart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nastasio Carreira. In the 69th minute, Frankie Yankovich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nastasio Carreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Frankie Yankovich struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Nastasio Carreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gitarriu. Damian Tipinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bautista Armada in the 76th minute. Zelipe Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nastasio Carreira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frankie Yankovich in the 83rd minute of play forced Vitoria-Gasteiz's goalkeeper Nastasio Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gitarriu's supporters rose to their feet, but Frankie Yankovich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nastasio Carreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Vitoria-Gasteiz's zone, Lucas Benítez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nastasio Carreira came out of the goal and Lucas Benítez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Vitoria-Gasteiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regis Radaban to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, Frankie Yankovich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Nastasio Carreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Joel Lundström notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira. Nastasio Carreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gitarriu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
