The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xurxo Lagunas during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Asturcones d´la Abadía getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Xurxo Lagunas hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Filomeno Tormes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asturcones d´la Abadía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Tormes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venecia's Felipe Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asier Izquierdo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Venecia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Casals to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Varela came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas. But to his dismay, Xurxo Lagunas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Veremundo Lastras came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Felipe Varela could save by the left post. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Filomeno Tormes lined in a short shot 8-0 behind a frustrated Felipe Varela. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuoco Riells, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xurxo Lagunas got free with Felipe Varela in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Tormes to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Tormes was the one to do the kick off. Xurxo Lagunas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Varela having to make a save. Asier Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Felipe Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urko Ferrer made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Muno Briso immediately put the ball in play. When Xurxo Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurxo Lagunas couldn't finish the play. Felipe Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asier Izquierdo in the 60th minute of the match. Veremundo Lastras struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Felipe Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asturcones d´la Abadía. Urko Ferrer made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Xuoco Riells however managed to control. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xuoco Riells in the 68th minute of play. Felipe Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Fernandez in the 69th minute of play. Xurxo Lagunas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Asier Izquierdo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 84th minute Xurxo Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Urko Ferrer in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurdin Candamo. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Veremundo Lastras hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
