The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lundström in the 3rd minute of play forced AC Guadalajara's goalkeeper Juan Cazorla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Lundström spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of AC Guadalajara's goal. Juan Cazorla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernebe Sabugal in the 5th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Gitarriu got a freekick which was hit by Felix Alacuart. Normando Palencia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Damian Tipinski made a huge save. AC Guadalajara's Juan Cazorla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernebe Sabugal in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evarado Taules in the 16th minute of play forced Gitarriu's goalkeeper Damian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laffitte Sanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Damian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laffitte Sanes in the 19th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 22nd minute, but Damian Tipinski got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Gitarriu hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laffitte Sanes in the 23rd minute of play forced Gitarriu's goalkeeper Damian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evarado Taules sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's goalkeeper Damian Tipinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evarado Taules. In the 29th minute Laffitte Sanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Tipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laffitte Sanes in the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's goal looked a bit too open when Laffitte Sanes came free, but Damian Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evarado Taules sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laffitte Sanes in the 43rd minute of play. Juan Cazorla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Lundström in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laffitte Sanes was the one to do the kick off. When Normando Palencia fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Guadalajara's protests and gave Normando Palencia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gitarriu booed when AC Guadalajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Normando Palencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Tipinski came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Guadalajara's Jaakoppi Fahlgren. But to his dismay, Jaakoppi Fahlgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Evarado Taules had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Tipinski. Gitarriu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evarado Taules was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's goal looked a bit too open when Laffitte Sanes came free, but Damian Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Normando Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Damian Tipinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laffitte Sanes in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, AC Guadalajara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay-Jay Fahlgren to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's Vergaray Casero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evarado Taules in the 78th minute of play forced Gitarriu's goalkeeper Damian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Normando Palencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes, Vergaray Casero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gitarriu and the AC Guadalajara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute Joel Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Cazorla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes AC Guadalajara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vergaray Casero who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Gitarriu's corner Vergaray Casero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Cazorla quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Anacleto Pais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Tipinski skillfully saved the ball. AC Guadalajara were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gitarriu for a fine match.
