Firmo Abascal started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Nueva Chicago booed when Albir fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julen Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joga Leve from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Alonso Valdivia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Xalvador Pendones sped through Albir fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alonso Valdivia. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago's zone, Firmo Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Cañizares came out of the goal and Firmo Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xalvador Pendones's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Alonso Valdivia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 14 minutes into the game, Bitxintxo Climent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albir fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva Chicago the free kick. A collision led to Albir fc getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bitxintxo Climent hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Marcial Ziguenza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Bitxintxo Climent notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares. Santiago Cañizares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alonso Valdivia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xalvador Pendones in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xalvador Pendones in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonso Valdivia saved Albir fc from getting behind. Nofre Prieto charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nofre Prieto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nofre Prieto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Xalvador Pendones's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Alonso Valdivia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Nueva Chicago's Xalvador Pendones in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albir fc's goalie prevented a goal. Nueva Chicago were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Albir fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joga Leve took the corner. Leandro Cayuela tried in the 33rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Alonso Valdivia a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Albir fc's goalkeeper Alonso Valdivia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xalvador Pendones. If Diego Lugano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xalvador Pendones took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonso Valdivia. Alonso Valdivia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xalvador Pendones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bitxintxo Climent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Cañizares having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Albir fc got a freekick which was hit by Bitxintxo Climent. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Cayuela during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joga Leve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alonso Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xalvador Pendones, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. At last the ball reached Wilfredo Jubera at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Albir fc. 4-1. Albir fc's Alonso Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalvador Pendones in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Deans in the 66th minute of play forced Albir fc's goalkeeper Alonso Valdivia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Xalvador Pendones made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Albir fc's Alonso Valdivia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Xalvador Pendones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Alonso Valdivia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonso Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xalvador Pendones, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Albir fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Cayuela to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Joga Leve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Albir fc defense, Xalvador Pendones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonso Valdivia. The Albir fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonso Valdivia should have stopped the shot. If Xalvador Pendones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Nueva Chicago were the better team. Nueva Chicago's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
