Rayo Tharkad's Manolo Lacorte got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Urtungo Santander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nevada Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Misael Solera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apoena Ocaña in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes in the game, Radja Head fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nevada Silvestre having to interfere. Gilesindo Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Evelio Zárate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rayo Tharkad's Manolo Lacorte got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Misael Solera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Lacorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Nevada Silvestre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Misael Solera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Lacorte in the 33rd minute of play. Misael Solera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Lacorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After the first half Rayo Tharkad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute of the match Rayo Tharkad got a corner. Cañamero C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zumar Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juan Bermejo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Radja Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nevada Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manolo Lacorte came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Rayo Tharkad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Lacorte couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Rayo Tharkad's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Zárate came free, but Nevada Silvestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cañamero C.F.'s Misael Solera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cañamero C.F. from getting a goal against them. Misael Solera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 70th minute. Nevada Silvestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radja Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Manolo Lacorte could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Misael Solera however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolo Lacorte got free with Misael Solera in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Manolo Lacorte took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Misael Solera to make any attempt to save it. Nevada Silvestre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Velasco Marcilla's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Gilesindo Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
