If Kai Rønne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when David Villa came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belo Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Cañizares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belo Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Foguera's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Mayor came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Foguera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Guillamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Villa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Vadillos. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, David Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurino Serena came out of the goal and David Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Erlantz Bermejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Cañizares was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ivan Rubio took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Villa in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Foguera's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belo Alvarez. In the 46th minute of the match Hugo Guillamon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurino Serena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Foguera were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erlantz Bermejo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Cañizares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Maurino Serena managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Foguera's Ivan Rubio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 59 minutes, David Villa made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After taking down the ball on Foguera's corner David Villa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurino Serena quite easily take care of the ball. Luis-Miguel Rienda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Foguera's Luis-Miguel Rienda got a free kick in the 77th minute. Belo Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Santiago Cañizares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Natxo Cacheres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Foguera's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Antunez came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Foguera's Hugo Guillamon got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Foguera's David Villa in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D. Alcorcón's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-3 when David Villa sped through A.D. Alcorcón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. Emmanuel Otero hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Foguera's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
