Spectators: 8409 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ekialde Nadal kicked off to start the match. Urtungo Santander might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dean Grieve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtungo Santander ran back to his position shaking his head. Misael Solera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Ganix in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Bela Herrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PERSPOLIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañamero C.F. the free kick. Bela Herrero kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Urtungo Santander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dean Grieve was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Radja Head's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dean Grieve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bela Herrero got free with Misael Solera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urtungo Santander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Grieve having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Cañamero C.F.'s goalkeeper Misael Solera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bela Herrero. Dean Grieve came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Cañamero C.F.'s Radja Head. But to his dismay, Radja Head quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Cañamero C.F. booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekialde Nadal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Urtungo Santander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Dean Grieve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dean Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtungo Santander in the 46th minute of the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Zárate in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Grieve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute Evelio Zárate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Cañamero C.F.'s Radja Head sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dean Grieve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, Cañamero C.F.'s Radja Head made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Grieve was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Evelio Zárate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frutos Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Frutos Barrios hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Shabeb Al Dowaisan hit a great ball. With a little luck, PERSPOLIS's Dean Grieve got control of the ball when Evelio Zárate tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Facundo Feria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Yiyo Esperta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Dean Grieve had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Zárate. Evelio Zárate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Grieve having to interfere. Cañamero C.F.'s Zosimo Mayor was substituted for Haroldo Yeste. In the 93rd minute, Evelio Zárate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Facundo Feria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Honorio Carceles got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Cañamero C.F. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
