Spectators: 8425 (Terracing: 6319, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Real Pacator CF's Juan Aceves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dean Grieve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yosua Diez in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes PERSPOLIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yosua Diez who took care of the corner kick. Juan Aceves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dean Grieve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Aceves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sivert Hedbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dean Grieve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Ekialde Nadal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PERSPOLIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekialde Nadal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Sivert Hedbom notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PERSPOLIS's Dean Grieve. Dean Grieve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PERSPOLIS's Florin Mala managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aydın Adıvar in the 29 minute of the game. Real Pacator CF's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekialde Nadal in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Sivert Hedbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Sivert Hedbom made a precise shot to the right of Dean Grieve. PERSPOLIS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ekialde Nadal to strike the kick off in the second half. PERSPOLIS's Dean Grieve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Hedbom in the 53rd minute of play. Waldir Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekialde Nadal's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Ekialde Nadal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldir Peres having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sivert Hedbom in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Grieve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Aydın Adıvar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Real Pacator CF got a freekick which was hit by Aydın Adıvar. Real Pacator CF's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Ganix in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Real Pacator CF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Raphael Gasso hit a great ball. Max Thrane hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Juan Aceves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PERSPOLIS's Dean Grieve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PERSPOLIS's zone, Juan Aceves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dean Grieve came out of the goal and Juan Aceves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Ganix in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Cipriano Ganix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Pacator CF's Waldir Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dean Grieve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Aceves, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Real Pacator CF's Waldir Peres got control of the ball when Cipriano Ganix tried to sneak it across the goal line. PERSPOLIS were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Real Pacator CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florin Mala took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Pacator CF's goalie and right to Facundo Feria. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Pacator CF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dean Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Hedbom in the 91st minute of the match.
