The supporters of Arkham Asylum C.F. booed when UD Almería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofronio Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esdras Benito might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillen Montiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esdras Benito ran back to his position shaking his head. Guillen Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Huarte in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Arkham Asylum C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Karlo Orbiz. Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Darin Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Blazquez in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Esdras Benito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Montiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillen Montiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Huarte in the 17th minute of the match. When Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Luis Molina in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Almería's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Molina in the 25th minute of play forced UD Almería's goalkeeper Guillen Montiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emenon Fuente in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darin Mann saved Arkham Asylum C.F. from getting behind. Darin Mann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofronio Quiroga in the 33rd minute. UD Almería's Guillen Montiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Huarte in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emenon Fuente got free with Darin Mann in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Esdras Benito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Encina kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Esdras Benito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to UD Almería getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Iván Quijana hit a great ball. Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Freddy Ladra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UD Almería. Arkham Asylum C.F. were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after UD Almería's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Freddy Ladra took the corner.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esdras Benito was the one to do the kick off. Esdras Benitos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Guillen Montiel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, UD Almería's goal looked a bit too open when Belo Huarte came free, but Guillen Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luis Molina came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Arkham Asylum C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Molina couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Arkham Asylum C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emenon Fuente came free, but Darin Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belo Huarte struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Guillen Montiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arkham Asylum C.F.. 69 minutes into the match, UD Almería's goal looked a bit too open when Belo Huarte came free, but Guillen Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belo Huarte in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillen Montiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Guillen Montiel managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Esdras Benito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emenon Fuente in the 74th minute of play forced Arkham Asylum C.F.'s goalkeeper Darin Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Esdras Benito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillen Montiel. That made the score 0-1 after 79 minutes of play. The supporters of UD Almería booed when Arkham Asylum C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doido Tare didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, UD Almería's Bitxintxo Prieto tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Esdras Benito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Guillen Montiel made a huge save. If Emenon Fuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Misael Vazquez in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Almería's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Misael Vazquez lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Guillen Montiel.
