Spectators: 8425 (Terracing: 6319, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emenon Fuente kicked off to start the match. Molins De Rei's Eduardo Revuelta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emenon Fuente in the 7th minute of play. When Emenon Fuente came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the UD Almería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emenon Fuente couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Luis Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Molins De Rei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Aigisthos Alatza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Montiel having to interfere. Guillen Montiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Idar Reistad in the 33rd minute. Platon Blazquez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Luis Gimenez scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Montiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillen Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idar Reistad in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Idar Reistad was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, UD Almería's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Gimenez came free, but Guillen Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Molins De Rei's Eduardo Revuelta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emenon Fuente in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match UD Almería got a corner. Molins De Rei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bitxintxo Prieto ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bitxintxo Prieto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eduardo Revuelta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Molins De Rei's Eduardo Revuelta got control of the ball when Sofronio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Revuelta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Platon Blazquez in the 59th minute of the match. Molins De Rei's Eduardo Revuelta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Molins De Rei from getting a goal against them. UD Almería's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bitxintxo Prieto in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, UD Almería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofronio Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Luis Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Montiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Revuelta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emenon Fuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Eduardo Revuelta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Molins De Rei's Manuel Zubiaga was substituted for Idar Reistad. Bitxintxo Prieto made a great header on UD Almería's corner, it was just that Molins De Rei's Eduardo Revuelta managed to reach the ball for a save. Eduardo Revuelta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emenon Fuente in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, UD Almería's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Gimenez came free, but Guillen Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillen Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Gimenez in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Luis Gimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillen Montiel. UD Almería's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Gimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the UD Almería players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Molins De Rei.
