Karlo Ålund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Sigfred Hersbo made a huge save. In the 8th minute Paw Goldbro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagnar Dyrvig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eagles FC's Steff Mundeli got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th match minute, Højreby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Korth to maneuver through the defense. Paw Goldbro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Højreby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Streyen to maneuver through the defense. When Karlo Ålund came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Eagles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karlo Ålund couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Eagles FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Højreby:s goal. The referee gave Højreby a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eberhardt Sornum, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eagles FC's Vagnar Dyrvig. 0-1. In the 29th minute, Karlo Ålund made a precise shot to the right of Sigfred Hersbo. Højreby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Toke Nefnæv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Højreby's zone, Ralph Eiholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigfred Hersbo came out of the goal and Ralph Eiholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Streyen during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Højreby's Fredrik Streyen got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikki Sandelstein in the 43rd minute of play forced Højreby's goalkeeper Sigfred Hersbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Karlo Ålund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sigfred Hersbo. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. Sigfred Hersbo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikki Sandelstein in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rikki Sandelstein was the one to do the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vagnar Dyrvig, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karlo Ålund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlo Ålund in the 75th minute of play forced Højreby's goalkeeper Sigfred Hersbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Ralph Eiholm suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Eagles FC made a substitution. Kenni Qveiborg replaced Ralph Eiholm. Fredrik Streyen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Eskild Hjemdal. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Toke Nefnæv got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th minute, Rikki Sandelstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 95 minutes into the match, Højreby's goal looked a bit too open when Kenni Qveiborg came free, but Sigfred Hersbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Højreby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eagles FC.
