Edgar Bektved might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Troels Lock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Bektved ran back to his position shaking his head. Michael Bytorp kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Bjerre SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Panker came free, but Troels Lock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Tillark fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjerre SIK's protests and gave Cristian Tillark a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Bjerre SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Tillark to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Ernest Lindum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tim Cruse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjerre SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Cruse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Matczen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Denis Panker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Troels Lock was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Gynther Wieth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gynther Wieth to strike the kick off in the second half. Oliver Matczen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eric Klemmed showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bjerre SIK's zone, Gynther Wieth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Troels Lock came out of the goal and Gynther Wieth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Matczen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Cruse in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Klemmed in the 69th minute of play forced Fish Stars's goalkeeper Oliver Matczen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gynther Wieth in the 71st minute of play forced Bjerre SIK's goalkeeper Troels Lock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gynther Wieth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Troels Lock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Ernest Lindum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Troels Lock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Fish Stars's Jørg Glerup made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Troels Lock was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bjerre SIK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
