The audience was convinced that Erhard Hesselbjerg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hemming Mervild was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With 8 minutes on the clock, Gotfred Tarnak commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for FC WBKelso. Niko Kjederup stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sam Skjønvig. 0-1. FC WBKelso's Eske Dagnø got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes, Thorsten Pleimert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC WBKelso and the Sinner players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thorsten Pleimert hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Louie Dandanel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Andre Nørskoven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gynter Dircks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam Skjønvig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. FC WBKelso's Hemming Mervild proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC WBKelso from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andre Nørskoven got free with Hemming Mervild in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sinner's Sam Skjønvig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gynter Dircks in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Andre Nørskoven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Nørskoven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mickey Nøies fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC WBKelso's protests and gave Mickey Nøies a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC WBKelso getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mickey Nøies hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Sinner's goal looked a bit too open when Gynter Dircks came free, but Sam Skjønvig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wagner Parnæs's late challenge caught a FC WBKelso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wagner Parnæs helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC WBKelso booed when Sinner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wagner Parnæs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andre Nørskoven in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hemming Mervild, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Andre Nørskoven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemming Mervild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Andre Nørskoven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Andre Nørskoven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sinner's Andre Nørskoven got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hemming Mervild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Nørskoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Torkild Chantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hemming Mervild read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC WBKelso's Mickey Nøies got a free kick in the 86th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of FC WBKelso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sinner:s goal. A collision led to Sinner getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jørg Nilkile hit a great ball. Gynter Dircks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Sam Skjønvig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The FC WBKelso players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
