The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Vedsted FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Fredman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Sebastian Thavlov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Vinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Thavlov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Lonning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egil Fredman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vedsted FC's Nicholas Lonning got control of the ball when Marcus Willers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicholas Lonning made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Sebastian Thavlov sent off a good shot on target. Severin Alsager kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Fc Vinkel's goal looked a bit too open when Nikki Ringvold came free, but Maksymilian Czech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vedsted FC's Nicholas Lonning proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Vedsted FC from getting a goal against them. Fc Vinkel's Maksymilian Czech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bendt Rothgart in the 29th minute of play. Sebastian Thavlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Lonning having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Waldemar Friedel put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Vedsted FC booed when Fc Vinkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Friedel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes, Vedsted FC's Timo Skovbro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maksymilian Czech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vedsted FC reached it. Maksymilian Czech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anker Kenzie in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Asfred Otkjær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Czech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Fc Vinkel got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Krol. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asfred Otkjær stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Willers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Lonning having to interfere. Ib Svarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maksymilian Czech made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nikki Ringvold sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Fc Vinkel's Maksymilian Czech got control of the ball when Bendt Rothgart tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Ib Svarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Lonning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcus Willers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ib Svarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Lonning having to interfere. Vedsted FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marcus Willers might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicholas Lonning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Willers ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Willers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
