The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Amankwa during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Taabel FV getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ruben Amankwa hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Aarhus Flo GF's Aake Pihlager shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicki Virel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aarhus Flo GF reached it. Lennart Ardensberg's late challenge caught a Aarhus Flo GF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Ardensberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Taabel FV got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Ardensberg. Wagn Donkirk scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicki Virel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Ewersen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nichlas Hustoft in the 30th minute. The Taabel FV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aarhus Flo GF were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knud Plahn made a kick off. Nicki Virel stood somewhat misplaced when Knud Plahn came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 56 minute. With a little luck, Taabel FV's Nicki Virel got control of the ball when Wagn Donkirk tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Taabel FV getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sofus Almbjerg hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Knud Plahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicki Virel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wagn Donkirk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nicki Virel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67th play minutes Knud Plahn shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Nicki Virel and just under the crossbar into goal. Aarhus Flo GF were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Taabel FV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moses Restaino took the corner. After taking down the ball on Aarhus Flo GF's corner Moses Restaino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicki Virel quite easily take care of the ball. Knud Plahn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicki Virel having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Muhammad Hillesø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taabel FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammad Hillesø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aarhus Flo GF played a much better game than Taabel FV and deserved their victory. The Taabel FV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
