In the 13th minute Jens Jenvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Varga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EFG Fækalie's zone, Nickolaj Skannrup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nacho Varga came out of the goal and Nickolaj Skannrup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, EFG Fækalie's Aksel Kragebær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Dekov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nickolaj Skannrup in the 22nd minute of play forced EFG Fækalie's goalkeeper Nacho Varga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Smørumovre got a freekick which was hit by Jens Jenvall. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavrits Rambush in the 25th minute of play forced Smørumovre's goalkeeper Karsten Dekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacho Varga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolaj Skannrup in the 28th minute of play. Godtfred Kaldau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Karsten Dekov made a huge save. Godtfred Kaldaus short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Karsten Dekov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Karsten Dekov managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when EFG Fækalie's Godtfred Kaldau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jens Jenvall kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Godtfred Kaldau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Karsten Dekov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aksel Kragebær struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Karsten Dekov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EFG Fækalie. Karsten Dekov was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Lavrits Rambush capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lavrits Rambush really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of EFG Fækalie booed when Smørumovre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Vandrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Aksel Kragebær left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EFG Fækalie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. EFG Fækalie made a substitution. Boje Forneby replaced Nicholas Gildhoff. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ewald Selimi managed to get in a good position for a shot. EFG Fækalie's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewald Selimi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karsten Dekov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. EFG Fækalie had played much better football throughout.
