Viggo Gyldner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Møltved read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Århus FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodor Kreutzkampf to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricki Nyvad in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salomon Staunberg saved Schmoozing with the stars from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Schmoozing with the stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Haffnør to maneuver through the defense. Linus Kachlowsky hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Schmoozing with the stars's Viggo Gyldner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Møltved made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Patrik Møltved showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asfred Tiffani, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 29 minutes into the game, Rudy Haffnør was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schmoozing with the stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Århus FF the free kick. The supporters of Århus FF booed when Schmoozing with the stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Haffnør didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salomon Staunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Korting in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Korting in the 39th minute of play forced Schmoozing with the stars's goalkeeper Salomon Staunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Patrik Møltved managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Schmoozing with the stars's Viggo Gyldner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Viggo Gyldner made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 43rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Patrik Møltved would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Terry Irminger charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terry Irminger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Århus FF got a freekick which was hit by Terry Irminger. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viggo Gyldner to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricki Nyvad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Salomon Staunberg made a huge save. After 61 minutes Århus FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Asgar Klausman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Schmoozing with the stars's Asgar Klausman to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrik Møltved despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Århus FF's goal looked a bit too open when Asfred Tiffani came free, but Patrik Møltved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Asfred Tiffani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Møltved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Viggo Gyldner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Møltved was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute Harold Korting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Staunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Møltved made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asfred Tiffani in the 93rd minute of play.
