Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stephan Ceno got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Stephan Ceno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Højer FC's André Barntved was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Johan Harring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tonni Grosen was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Stephan Ceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Barntved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tonni Grosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Harring in the 13th minute of play. The corner led to Højer FC's Allan Strøfeldt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. André Barntved stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willy Rudme's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Baltazar Smidstrup kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laus Skovholm in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tonni Grosen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tonni Grosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Harring in the 23rd minute of play. Tonni Grosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Harring, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Harring in the 26th minute of play forced Nederby FC's goalkeeper Tonni Grosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Laus Skovholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johan Harring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Harring to make the kick off. Johan Harring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tonni Grosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stephan Ceno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltazar Smidstrup during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Nederby FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Smidstrup. Tonni Grosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Harring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hemming Jøhncke's late challenge caught a Nederby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hemming Jøhncke helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Nederby FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Gudemoos. Tonni Grosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laus Skovholm in the 66th minute. Baltazar Smidstrup kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Højer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Rudme came free, but André Barntved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nederby FC's Willy Rudme suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Poul Køngsmark during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
