An unexpectedly hard shot by Tavs Børløs in the 11th minute of play forced Resenstad's goalkeeper Didrik Kjellev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brydegaard SIK's Tavs Børløs in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Brydegaard SIK's Jari Hveisel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Didrik Kjellev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tavs Børløs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tavs Børløs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes of play Brydegaard SIK's Jari Hveisel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tavs Børløs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didrik Kjellev having to interfere. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tavs Børløs sped through Resenstad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Didrik Kjellev. Didrik Kjellev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tavs Børløs went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Brydegaard SIK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tavs Børløs was the one to do the kick off. Bertold Wigger hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Luis Hansfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resenstad's protests and gave Luis Hansfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. If Lenny Engedahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes in the game, Tavs Børløs fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Didrik Kjellev having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Resenstad's goalkeeper Didrik Kjellev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Didrik Kjellev managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Brydegaard SIK's Tavs Børløs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Didrik Kjellev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Asmind Bohner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 71 minute of play. Håkon Overland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Heidum in the 77th minute of play. Bertold Wigger's late challenge caught a Brydegaard SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertold Wigger helped the player get up and apologised. Bertold Wigger hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Jannik Lottov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkon Overland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Resenstad's Didrik Kjellev got control of the ball when Lenny Engedahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brydegaard SIK played a much better game than Resenstad and deserved their victory. The Resenstad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
