If Paulo Højsvig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Paulo Højsvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Vestbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sonny Ringmann notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bjørnstrup's Thor Karulf. Thor Karulf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gotfred Skovø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Vestbøge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Højsvig in the 33rd minute of the match. Gotfred Skovø scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Vestbøge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Paulo Højsvig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjørnstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Højsvig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Vestbøge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Højsvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laus Rehnsby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Højsvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Vestbøge having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Lavritz Raunsholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUNDEBORG FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lavritz Raunsholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thor Karulf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Ringmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LUNDEBORG FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eigil Wichmand hit a great ball. Gotfred Skovø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Vestbøge having to interfere. If Paulo Højsvig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Højsvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alfred Vestbøge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Ringmann in the 80th minute of play forced Bjørnstrup's goalkeeper Thor Karulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LUNDEBORG FC's Alfred Vestbøge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save LUNDEBORG FC from getting a goal against them. Alfred Vestbøge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Landsholt's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Thor Karulf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Ringmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Sonny Ringmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Thor Karulf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Paulo Højsvig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Højsvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gotfred Skovø came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bjørnstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gotfred Skovø couldn't finish the play. The LUNDEBORG FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
