Eskil Bastheim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolaus Wildau having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Esben Nilander put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolaus Wildau. Andre Sauvr took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolaus Wildau. Nicolaus Wildau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Emdrup FC defense, Andre Sauvr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolaus Wildau. The Emdrup FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolaus Wildau should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Eskil Bastheim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolaus Wildau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Nicolaus Wildau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Sauvr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esben Nilander in the 23rd minute of play forced Emdrup FC's goalkeeper Nicolaus Wildau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolaus Wildau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Sauvr in the 27th minute of play. Nicolaus Wildau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Bastheim in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loke Dreibye to make the kick off. With a little luck, Emdrup FC's Nicolaus Wildau got control of the ball when Asker Parming tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emdrup FC's Nicolaus Wildau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Sauvr in the 55th minute of play. Nicolaus Wildau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eskil Bastheim went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Esben Nilander took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Nicolaus Wildau to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute Andre Sauvr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaus Wildau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Diego Holsmose made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaus Wildau. Emdrup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-11. After 69 minutes of play, Mariager IF's Asker Parming made it 1-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolaus Wildau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolaus Wildau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esben Nilander, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Franz Ellemand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Namansa got free with Nicolaus Wildau in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Vagnar Helmfast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariager IF's Diego Holsmose shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolaus Wildau but with some difficulty. 82 minutes into the game, Mariager IF's Esben Nilander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolaus Wildau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-13. Nicolaus Wildau came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mariager IF's Augustin Saxil. But to his dismay, Augustin Saxil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-14. Nicolaus Wildau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibrahim Bergild in the 97th minute of the match. The Emdrup FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mariager IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
