Espen Hasted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlo Schleicher having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Espen Hasted's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karlo Schleicher was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Ali Spielberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Maarup IF's goal looked a bit too open when Espen Hasted came free, but Karlo Schleicher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernhard Frisby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlo Schleicher having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Espen Hasted who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maarup IF's Karlo Schleicher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karlo Schleicher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernhard Frisby in the 20th minute. Espen Hasted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlo Schleicher having to interfere. Maarup IF's Karlo Schleicher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Maarup IF from getting a goal against them. If Espen Hasted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reinhard Vedum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espen Hasted could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Karlo Schleicher made a huge save. Karlo Schleicher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Espen Hasted in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, SofaRækken's Rufus Rinas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karlo Schleicher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 43rd minute Espen Hasted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlo Schleicher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Bernhard Frisby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SofaRækken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Frisby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mortimer Bilt to make the kick off. Karlo Schleicher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espen Hasted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Maarup IF's zone, Bernhard Frisby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karlo Schleicher came out of the goal and Bernhard Frisby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Roland Midalberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Ronnie Druså however easily saved by the left post. Mortimer Bilt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronnie Druså came out and tried to block the shot, but Mortimer Bilt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 58th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Espen Hasted elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Espen Hasted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
