The supporters of Team Boukalele booed when Kerteminde Boldklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Adelsbro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Kapala's late challenge caught a Team Boukalele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Kapala helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Team Boukalele booed when Kerteminde Boldklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Kapala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjeld Rylov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tue Parslet in the 26th minute of the match. Bertil Kapala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilfred Paustian hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tom Hvannastein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixten Sarroe having to make a save. Kjeld Rylov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tue Parslet's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Svenåge Vesselfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Sarroe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Hvannastein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Sixten Sarroe made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tom Hvannastein to strike the kick off in the second half. Team Boukalele's Per Greenvik got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Ralph Adelsbro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, Team Boukalele's Svenåge Vesselfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixten Sarroe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Kerteminde Boldklub's Tue Parslet in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Boukalele's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerhard Guldager during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tom Hvannastein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Sarroe having to interfere. Kjeld Rylov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tue Parslet in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Kerteminde Boldklub's Tue Parslet made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjeld Rylov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kerteminde Boldklub were furious when Gerhard Guldager was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Team Boukalele. Per Greenvik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sixten Sarroe. 2-2. In the 86th minute Svenåge Vesselfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Sarroe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svenåge Vesselfeldt took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixten Sarroe. Sixten Sarroe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Sixten Sarroe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svenåge Vesselfeldt in the 95th minute of play. When Bertil Kapala came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Kerteminde Boldklub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Kapala couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kerteminde Boldklub players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Team Boukalele.
