Melchior Jaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melchior Jaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Schønweller in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Kerteminde Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Schønweller came free, but Melchior Jaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Muldkjær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 27 minutes on the clock, Eberhardt Osted commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Kerteminde Boldklub's Eberhardt Osted got a free kick in the 28th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Høistø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchior Jaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Høistø in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralph Schønweller got free with Melchior Jaes in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kerteminde Boldklub's Melchior Jaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kerteminde Boldklub from getting a goal against them. Ralph Schønweller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Melchior Jaes made a huge save. Melchior Jaes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. The Kerteminde Boldklub fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Haslev FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
