Nikolas Sandkær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendt Birkemark in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altino Lameirinhas in the 10th minute of play forced Depeche Mode's goalkeeper Nikolas Sandkær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Twietmeyer hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Depeche Mode's goal looked a bit too open when Altino Lameirinhas came free, but Nikolas Sandkær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikolas Sandkær didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Altino Lameirinhas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Undertakers FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Depeche Mode's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thodoris Aggelou took the corner. Paulino Canor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 25 minutes into the game, Undertakers FC's Bendt Birkemark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolas Sandkær made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 28th minute, Jens-Erik Stephansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Undertakers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 34th minute Jens-Erik Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Sandkær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altino Lameirinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nikolas Sandkær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Stephansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolas Sandkær. Depeche Mode's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Erik Stephansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Taus Brønfort kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Undertakers FC's Thodoris Aggelou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nikolas Sandkær came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Undertakers FC reached it. After the first half Undertakers FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Twietmeyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nikolas Sandkær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altino Lameirinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikolas Sandkær made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Erik Stephansson in the 54th minute. Altino Lameirinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikolas Sandkær came out and tried to block the shot, but Altino Lameirinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. Nikolas Sandkær made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Vallejo in the 59th minute. Depeche Mode's Nikolas Sandkær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altino Lameirinhas in the 68th minute of play. Cliff Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taus Brønfort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Depeche Mode's Nikolas Sandkær got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Stephansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikolas Sandkær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altino Lameirinhas in the 75th minute of play. If Altino Lameirinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Stephansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nikolas Sandkær made a huge save. Altino Lameirinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Sandkær having to interfere. Undertakers FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
