After a rather tough play, Munkes's Kai Nyenstad got a free kick in the 7th minute. Svend Alsbro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn Bumroll having to interfere. Johan Thyren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volmar Gow, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Volmar Gow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rye BK's Johan Thyren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Rye BK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kevin Kjølstad hit a great ball. Finn Bumroll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Kjølstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Rye BK defense, Volmar Gow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Thyren. The Rye BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Thyren should have stopped the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Kevin Kjølstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rye BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Kjølstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Svend Alsbro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Finn Bumroll made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Volmar Gow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Thyren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volmar Gow took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Thyren. Johan Thyren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Munkes's Volmar Gow in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rye BK's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Munkes were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Volmar Gow made the kick off in the second half. Volmar Gow who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Johan Thyren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ali Vinsteen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volmar Gow's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Johan Thyren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot by Patrick Boelskov from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Johan Thyren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Johan Thyren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stuart Basselbjerg. Volmar Gow's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Johan Thyren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Finn Bumroll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Alsbro in the 70th minute of play. Munkes's Finn Bumroll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Kjølstad in the 75th minute of play. A hard shot 78 in the game by Volmar Gow from a close distance when the talented Johan Thyren managed to make a qualified save. Rye BK's players were relieved. Finn Bumroll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Vinsteen went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Finn Bumroll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Kjølstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Finn Bumroll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Kjølstad in the 91st minute of the match. Chrestian Reiff hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
