The Dynamo Brabrand fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Dynamo Brabrand's Walentin Lannild looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henrik Hegnsbøl was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 13thth minute of the game Henrik Hegnsbøl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rye BK's Johan Thyren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Walentin Lannild could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Johan Thyren made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Walentin Lannild could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Johan Thyren however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Rye BK booed when Dynamo Brabrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigfred Grenzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rye BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Walentin Lannild 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Walentin Lannilds short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Johan Thyren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Walentin Lannild had several of the Rye BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Johan Thyren as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Dynamo Brabrand's Henrik Hegnsbøl in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
