After a defensive mix-up in Hugby SIK's zone, Kalle Tvingstrup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miki Mickelborg came out of the goal and Kalle Tvingstrup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Detlef Galgehøj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute of the game Hans Irgensø made a throw-in which Matthias Vithusen played forward. In the 18th match minute, Hugby SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Naumann to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Skellerøsd FC's Nickolai Parkfelt tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rainer Valkenstjerne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Ersø in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Valdemar Naumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Valkenstjerne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Tvingstrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Valdemar Naumann came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Hugby SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Naumann couldn't finish the play. Hugby SIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kalle Tvingstrup 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kalle Tvingstrup made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Hugby SIK's Knut Ersø made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rainer Valkenstjerne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rainer Valkenstjerne made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Therkil Lockey sent off a good shot on target. Skellerøsd FC's Rainer Valkenstjerne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Vithusen in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Neborka in the 75th minute of play forced Hugby SIK's goalkeeper Miki Mickelborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dario Elberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tomas Neborka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skellerøsd FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Neborka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miki Mickelborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Skellerøsd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Vithusen came free, but Rainer Valkenstjerne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Skellerøsd FC's Detlef Galgehøj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miki Mickelborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
