Hugby SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellerøsd FC the free kick. Miki Mickelborg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Skellerøsd FC's Rainer Valkenstjerne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Ersø in the 72nd minute of play. Tomas Neborka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miki Mickelborg having to interfere. Kalle Tvingstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes in the game, Kalle Tvingstrup fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Miki Mickelborg having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Skellerøsd FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hugby SIK.
