But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Fenomeno couldn't finish the play. Nick Strandnæs kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Rosen Dal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jungle Circus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jack Hrolv struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bolo Skjold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for One step beyond. Owe Klahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Agger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Jungle Circus's corner Ricardo Haldriis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Owe Klahn quite easily take care of the ball. One step beyond's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terry Olling in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Terry Olling almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jungle Circus's Bolo Skjold did a great save. Bolo Skjold made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jack Hrolv sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Ellef charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Ellef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jungle Circus's Rosen Dal got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 57th minute, Wilhelm Aldridge had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of Jungle Circus booed when One step beyond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Ellef didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosen Dal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Owe Klahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The One step beyond fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when One step beyond's Rupert Cassel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, Jungle Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Hrolv came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Owe Klahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosen Dal in the 82nd minute. Bolo Skjold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Hrolv's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Henning Glidov fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jungle Circus's protests and gave Henning Glidov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Henning Glidov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Hrolv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Hrolv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. One step beyond's Owe Klahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosen Dal in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Jungle Circus's Albert Caprani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Owe Klahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
