Spectators: 8402 (Terracing: 6302, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sune Aagot started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Salvie during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ringsted drenge's Dario Lykkestrøm was substituted for Thorleif Mejnert. In the 4th match minute, Next Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Salvie to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Samson Bertøe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Next Generation's Elmer Jarldam. Elmer Jarldam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoffer Lillienfryd during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Next Generation getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Christoffer Lillienfryd hit a great ball. Next Generation's Elmer Jarldam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Claudinger in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Next Generation booed when Ringsted drenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samson Bertøe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Next Generation got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Juelsbjerg. Elmer Jarldam came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ringsted drenge's Samson Bertøe. But to his dismay, Samson Bertøe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute Samson Bertøe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmer Jarldam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samson Bertøe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ringsted drenge getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hilbert Aakersberg hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Ringsted drenge's Samson Bertøe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elmer Jarldam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, Ringsted drenge's Samson Bertøe made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elmer Jarldam was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Next Generation's Elmer Jarldam got control of the ball when Samson Bertøe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ringsted drenge booed when Next Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Aagot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Kjær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Terkild Ringbæk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Next Generation's goalkeeper Elmer Jarldam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elmer Jarldam was a little too slow when Mattias Claudinger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-4. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Mattias Claudinger took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Elmer Jarldam to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ringsted drenge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
