Rikardt Ellehage came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Odense Boldklub's Terkild Mosbech. But to his dismay, Terkild Mosbech quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rikardt Ellehage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terkild Mosbech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Svindbæk's goal looked a bit too open when Terkild Mosbech came free, but Rikardt Ellehage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rikardt Ellehage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Acosta in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Joachim Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rikardt Ellehage was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With his leg Sven Randborg managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Svindbæk's Hemming Sveinsklett fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Svindbæk's Rikardt Ellehage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terkild Mosbech in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Svindbæk's goal looked a bit too open when Terkild Mosbech came free, but Rikardt Ellehage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rikardt Ellehage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terkild Mosbech, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terkild Mosbech in the 36th minute of play forced Svindbæk's goalkeeper Rikardt Ellehage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svindbæk's Hemming Sveinsklett suffered a sore knee after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Krestoffer Jægel took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Randborg. Sven Randborg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 44th minute Terkild Mosbech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikardt Ellehage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Terkild Mosbech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Odense Boldklub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terkild Mosbech to strike the kick off in the second half. The Svindbæk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikardt Ellehage should have stopped the shot. Rikardt Ellehage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terkild Mosbech, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Odense Boldklub's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
