The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Fanøe got free with Dida Martins in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janich Sodborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Jestrimski in the 9th minute of the match. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Grønnow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hoberg United's goalie prevented a goal. Janich Sodborg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hoberg United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geir-Inge Tuft was slow to take the kick. During this time Strib Galacticos IF's players had a chance to rest. Geir-Inge Tuft made a great header on Strib Galacticos IF's corner, it was just that Hoberg United's Dida Martins managed to reach the ball for a save. Janich Sodborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Pirinchev in the 33rd minute of play. Dida Martins made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Felix Fanøe sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Jaroslaw Teofila in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Strib Galacticos IF's Robbin Moreaux. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Fanøe got free with Dida Martins in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Fanøe in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Martins saved Hoberg United from getting behind. Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Jestrimski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Fanøe in the 59th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg got control of the ball when Danny Grønnow tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hoberg United's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Fanøe in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Strib Galacticos IF got a corner. Hoberg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geir-Inge Tuft ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Geir-Inge Tuft almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hoberg United's Dida Martins did a great save. Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cintya Palacios to maneuver through the defense. Strib Galacticos IF's Nicolai Allermand was substituted for Pedro Nyaa. Hoberg United's Gordon Harkin was substituted for Witomir Jestrimski. Cintya Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Fanøe in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Fanøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Gordon Harkin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Janich Sodborg. The goal made the score 2-3. Hoberg United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
