After taking down the ball on Randers A.F.C.'s corner Maciej Konieczny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jes Linnig quite easily take care of the ball. Jes Linnig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Steenbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Bruno Steenbeck came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Randers A.F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Steenbeck couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in GFG VOEL's zone, Bruno Steenbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jes Linnig came out of the goal and Bruno Steenbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Shelby got in the 53rd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Jes Linnig and thus it was 0-3. A collision led to GFG VOEL getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Camilo Suarez hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Steenbeck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jes Linnig. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jes Linnig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Bruno Steenbeck notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of GFG VOEL's Jes Linnig. Jes Linnig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Terri Bulk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jes Linnig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Rikardt Buchholtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jes Linnig acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maciej Konieczny. GFG VOEL's Jes Linnig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terri Bulk in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Camilo Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terri Bulk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jes Linnig having to interfere. The throw-in from Nik Frisendal in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GFG VOEL's Camilo Suarez. Terri Bulk might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jes Linnig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terri Bulk ran back to his position shaking his head. Jes Linnig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terri Bulk in the 94th minute. When Terri Bulk came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Randers A.F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terri Bulk couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Randers A.F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GFG VOEL.
