Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivan Vúlchkov kicked off to start the match. If Leo Stauder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lothar Hanta during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Paula booed when REAL OMERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Hanta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Welskop received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronald Fischinger came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronald Welskop slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Ferdinand Heiduk came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by REAL OMERO's Ivan Vúlchkov. But to his dismay, Ivan Vúlchkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Westermann during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rachid Westermann kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ivan Vúlchkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinand Heiduk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hansjürgen Voßkühler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes REAL OMERO got a freekick which was hit by Hansi Ewert. Dirk Fischer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ronald Fischinger made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tino Hahn sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ronald Welskop took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ronald Fischinger to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Ronald Welskop's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Fischinger was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Tino Hahn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Fischinger having to interfere. Ronald Welskop took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronald Fischinger. Ronald Fischinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ronald Fischinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Westermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronald Welskop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Stauder scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronald Fischinger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronald Fischinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Jung, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. FC Paula's Ronald Welskop got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
