Johannes Fischbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Köller in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chemnitzer FC's Douglas Scherzer got a free kick in the 7th minute. Max Grein, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chemnitzer FC's zone, Patrick Köller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Fischbach came out of the goal and Patrick Köller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Douglas Scherzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Köller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Fischbach having to interfere. With a little luck, Einharting FC's Luka Fresow got control of the ball when Siegfried Seiss tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luka Fresow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kornelius Göller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chemnitzer FC's goalkeeper Johannes Fischbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luka Fresow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornelius Göller in the 31st minute of the match. Patrick Köller struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Johannes Fischbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Einharting FC. After a defensive mix-up in Einharting FC's zone, Siegfried Seiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luka Fresow came out of the goal and Siegfried Seiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Kornelius Göller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luka Fresow, 1-0. Kornelius Göller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luka Fresow having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kornelius Göller was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Siegfried Seiss notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Einharting FC's Luka Fresow. Luka Fresow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Einharting FC! After a defensive mix-up in Chemnitzer FC's zone, Miklos Patten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Fischbach came out of the goal and Miklos Patten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Douglas Scherzer fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chemnitzer FC's protests and gave Douglas Scherzer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Einharting FC booed when Chemnitzer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Scherzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Einharting FC's Patrick Köller managed to work through Chemnitzer FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Patrick Köller dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Siegfried Seiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alois Bluhm charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alois Bluhm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chemnitzer FC booed when Einharting FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alois Bluhm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siegfried Seiss in the 73rd minute of play forced Einharting FC's goalkeeper Luka Fresow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siegfried Seiss struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Luka Fresow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chemnitzer FC. Einharting FC's Patrick Köller got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Kornelius Göller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luka Fresow was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Siegfried Seiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luka Fresow having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Chemnitzer FC's Kornelius Göller made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luka Fresow was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98thth minute of the game Kornelius Göller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Einharting FC's Luka Fresow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chemnitzer FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Einharting FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
