Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jürgen Faße kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Maurice  Korb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theo Reinhardt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Groß Sarau FC's Theo Reinhardt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Groß Sarau FC from getting a goal against them. Jürgen Faße received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Theo Reinhardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Sosberg FSV's Jürgen Faße ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Theo Reinhardt. Theo Reinhardt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Maurice  Korb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reinhardt having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Jürgen Faße managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sosberg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jürgen Faße was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mike Buntzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reinhardt having to interfere. Jürgen Faße sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Fritz Trieb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredy Wagener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Reinhardt stood somewhat misplaced when Jürgen Faße came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. In the 38th minute, Maurice  Korb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jürgen Faße received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Theo Reinhardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Groß Sarau FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Braunheim. When Maurice  Korb came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sosberg FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurice  Korb couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernhard Braunheim was the one to do the kick off. Fritz Trieb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredy Wagener having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Fritz Trieb made a precise shot to the right of Fredy Wagener. Sosberg FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Maurice  Korb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Groß Sarau FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Kurth. After recieving a nice pass, Sosberg FSV's Pawel Krüger tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maurice  Korb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reinhardt having to interfere. Theo Reinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Faße in the 75th minute of the match. Mauro Kurth kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Jürgen Faße had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Groß Sarau FC's Fritz Trieb got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernhard Braunheim took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredy Wagener. Fredy Wagener dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Sosberg FSV's Fredy Wagener proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sosberg FSV from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurice  Korb in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theo Reinhardt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Sosberg FSV's Maurice  Korb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Reinhardt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jürgen Faße received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Theo Reinhardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurice  Korb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Reinhardt having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sosberg FSV had played much better football throughout.
