After 6 minutes, Hans Borek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorla FC and the workfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Dorla FC got a freekick which was hit by Hans Borek. Ödön Liski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Matzke in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Friedhold von Bülow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horst Boddenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pjotr Frieling having to interfere. Reinhold Büttgenbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pjotr Frieling came out of the goal and Friedhold von Bülow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dorla FC's goalkeeper Pjotr Frieling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorla FC's Pjotr Frieling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horst Boddenberg in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Dorla FC's Pjotr Frieling got control of the ball when Reinhold Büttgenbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ödön Liski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lex Groth made a kick off. Gustav Matzke scored 1-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ödön Liski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horst Boddenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pjotr Frieling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Dorla FC's protests and gave Rutger Herbel a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Dorla FC got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Herbel. Jürgen Wank kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Dorla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhold Büttgenbach came free, but Pjotr Frieling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 99 minutes, Friedhold von Bülow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. workfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Friedhold von Bülow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Dorla FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant workfield side.
