Achim Faber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Bizi in the 7th minute of play. When Heiko Witzig came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the 1.FC Magdeburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Witzig couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Bizi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Achim Faber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1.FC Magdeburg's Fernan Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Hugon Karbowski made a precise shot to the right of Achim Faber. FC Muş 49's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Fernan Bizi came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the 1.FC Magdeburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Bizi couldn't finish the play. When Fernan Bizi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1.FC Magdeburg's protests and gave Fernan Bizi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Fernan Bizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliah Buchele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Bizi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Achim Faber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hugon Karbowski scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Achim Faber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Bizi in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Muş 49's goalkeeper Achim Faber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1.FC Magdeburg's Gordon Krutten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Küpper-Adebisi in the 34th minute of play. Alois Reile hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 1.FC Magdeburg's Patrick Maller got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Muş 49's goalkeeper Achim Faber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Maller received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Achim Faber came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Maller slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Hugon Karbowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Magdeburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Muş 49 the free kick. In the 44th minute, Hugon Karbowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1.FC Magdeburg's Fernan Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

1.FC Magdeburg's Gordon Krutten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Küpper-Adebisi in the 51st minute of play. Calistrat Stamate took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achim Faber. Achim Faber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fernan Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Magdeburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Bizi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achim Faber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Muş 49's Achim Faber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Bizi in the 63rd minute of play. When Hugon Karbowski came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the 1.FC Magdeburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Karbowski couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes in the game, Wilfried Küpper-Adebisi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gordon Krutten having to interfere. Fernan Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Achim Faber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lúcio Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Achim Faber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Bizi went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, 1.FC Magdeburg's Fernan Bizi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achim Faber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Fernan Bizi put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Achim Faber. Wilfried Küpper-Adebisi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fernan Bizi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Achim Faber was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Achim Faber came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 1.FC Magdeburg's Patrick Maller. But to his dismay, Patrick Maller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 87 minutes of play, 1.FC Magdeburg's Fernan Bizi made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Achim Faber was left in no man's land by his defense there!
